1What are our operating hours?
LeMayian Hospital is open 24/7.

Visiting Hours

1What are our visiting hours for relatives?
We only allow 2 relatives at a time to visit an inpatient. Children below 10 years old may not be allowed into the wards to see patients. These times are restricted for the benefit of patient care.
Morning: 7:00AM – 8:00AM
Afternoon: 1:00PM –2:00PM
Evening: 5.00PM – 6.00PM

Consultation

1How much is it to see a consultant doctor?
General consultation is 400 for cash patients, Special clinics are KES 2,500. NHIF patients DO NOT PAY out-of-pocket as they are under SUPACOVER and insured patients are per scheme.

Maternity

1How much do maternity services cost?
NHIF patients are fully covered. Cash patient packages include Normal Delivery from KES 15,000 to 30,000 depending on the procedure, C/S cash patients from 45,000-57,000 depending on itemized costs. Advance deposits are allowed.

Surgery

1How does a patient schedule surgery?
NHIF patients are fully covered except for implants. Insured patients per scheme. A patient may also be recommended by his private surgeon if that specialist has admission rights at the Hospital. No Private doctors are allowed without updating admission rights as required. All elective surgeries are booked and pre-authorized, except for emergencies.
2What surgical packages/procedures are offered?
Please contact the Hospital for further details, we do over 500 types of procedures most of them covered fully under NHIF.

Bills

1Are patients’ bills paid for by the hospital?
The Hospital does not pay patient bills, but discounts are considered for indigenous or patients at the bottom of the economic pyramid, and for emergency services as required by Kenyan laws and in line with Christian compassion.
